plugin for running Squeak in a web browser

Squeak is an open, highly-portable Smalltalk-80 implementation whose virtual machine is written entirely in Smalltalk, making it easy to debug, analyze, and change. To achieve practical performance, a translator produces an equivalent C program whose performance is comparable to commercial Smalltalks.

This is the web-browser plugin for Squeak; with it installed, you can view Squeak content on the web.

  - Install this package.
  - Visit some page with some squeaklet, such as:
     http://www.squeakland.org/plugin/launch.html
  - You will see a question:
"There are updates available. Do you want to install them now?"

It is recommended to do that. It will take few minutes. When this process completes, the squeaklet you actually wanted to view is not shown. Just press the "Reload current page" button of your browser. This updating happens only once (more precisely, when there are some available updates which were not yet downloaded.)
