Tioga is a ruby library that allows one to make wonderful graphes from data or simply mathematical functions. It is fairly complete and easily extensible and comes with many examples (provided) and extensive online documentation.
Tioga is useful for scripting the generation of graphes, and comes with a configuration file for irb for interactive plotting of pictures.
