Provides PNG, JPEG, and XPM creation and manipulation routines through the libgd library. Also allows use of TrueType fonts in images created.

This is libgd-perl built against libgd 1.8.x, with Xpm (X pixmap) support.

The use of this package is discouraged, as it is no longer maintained upstream. Please use libgd-gd2-* instead if at all possible.
