The Globus Toolkit is an open source software toolkit used for building Grid systems and applications. It is being developed by the Globus Alliance and many others all over the world. A growing number of projects and companies are using the Globus Toolkit to unlock the potential of grids for their cause.

This package offers the Globus Callout Library. The Globus Toolkit version 3.2 introduced the ability to customize gridmap lookup (currently available in the Gatekeeper and GridFTP servers) as well as a mechanism for doing fine-grained authorization in the GRAM Jobmanager. Both of these features were built upon this callout library based on runtime library loading.
